ALISSA WALLS

I was born in Philadelphia, and largely grew up in the rural community of Riverside, PA, located along the Susquehanna River. I also spent a great deal of time with my Poppy, running through the hills and towns of northeastern Pennsylvania's coal region. During my teenage years I moved to Lancaster, a city associated with the Amish. Instead, I encountered development and suburbia. These experiences, along with my research on a range of subjects, from cosmology to political economy, drive almost everything I do. My work simply offers some food for thought.
